FLYING WITH A DRONE IN ROTTERDAM OR AMSTERDAM?

DRONESCENARIO HAS THE RIGHT LICENSES!

Are you looking for a company that is allowed to fly with drones near airports such as Rotterdam, the port of Rotterdam or the heart of Amsterdam? With DroneScenario you can, completely legally and with high quality drone images.

We have all the necessary licenses, including an Operational Authorization, and can apply for all permits for you.

We arrange all necessary approvals in advance!

If you want to use a drone to take aerial photos or videos of objects or locations that are immediately adjacent to airports, you must have a drone Operational Authorization. You have to think of the whole of Amsterdam, but also Eindhoven, Groningen, Maastricht and Rotterdam and a large part of the port of Rotterdam.

You can clearly see this CTR by the large red circle around the airports on GoDrone’s website. To be clear: DroneScenario is allowed to fly drones in almost all red areas, so not only around the airport, but also in industrial areas, ports and low-flying areas.

DroneScenario has an Operational Authorization for flying drones throughout the Netherlands and the European Union from the IL&T, part of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

WHERE CAN YOU FLY WITHDRONES?

You can fly in many places in the Netherlands with the A1/A2/A3 license. But above cities, industrial areas or ports you need an extended license. The drone pilot must be in possession of the Specific Category license. If you want to fly near an airport, you need an Operational Authorization.

More information about DroneScenario licenses can be found here.

On the GoDrone website you will find a map that indicates exactly where you can fly a drone with which license.

RADIO CONTACT WITH THE TRAFFIC TOWER

To be allowed to fly in a CTR, radio contact is mandatory between drone pilot and control tower. We have a qualified RT operator and the necessary equipment. When flying near an airport, there will always be an authorized radio operator present who maintains radio contact with air traffic control during the flight. This guarantees the security you deserve as a client and prevents hassle with the police, enforcement or government afterwards.

DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT A SPECIFIC LOCATION AND WHAT THE POSSIBILITIES ARE WITH DRONES THERE?PLEASE CONTACT US WITH NO OBLIGATION.

CHOOSE QUALITY AND SECURITY

An Operational Authorization (O.A.) is issued by the Human Environment & Transport Inspectorate (ILT), part of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, to drone operators who meet the highest requirements. For example, the drone pilot must have a Specific Category license and only fly according to the guidelines described in the Operations Manual and the SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) as laid down by the EASA.

In the Netherlands there are only dozens of drone operators and companies that have an Operational Authorization for drones. As a client, you can be held liable for hiring a drone operator if it does not have the correct permits. Therefore, always ask for the permit under which you are flying.

DroneScenario has an operating permit from the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (IL&T) for flying drones throughout Europe, including in the CTR areas around airports. As a result, we can fly with drones near all known airports.

The drone pilot has an Open Category A1/A2/A3 license and a license for the Specific Category (for recordings in areas closed to Open Category).

In addition, he has many years of experience with flying drones and Adobe photo editing and video editing programs. Clients are not only from the Netherlands. DroneScenario has also made drone recordings for clients in Belgium and Germany.
