In the Netherlands you are not allowed to fly drones just anywhere. There are strict and strict rules that clearly indicate what is and what is not allowed. If you make professional photo or video recordings with a drone, you must have the correct license.
DroneScenario has the highest possible license for flying drones in the Netherlands and within the European Union. This allows us to make the desired recordings for our clients in almost all of the Netherlands without any hassle.
In the Netherlands you have 3 categories for flying drones:
for private individuals with drones that fall into the A1, A2 or A3 category.
for professional drone video and photographers. Companies flying in this category can perform higher risk flights.
for professional drone operators who want to fly with drones in the immediate vicinity of airports or other closed areas.
As of January 1, 2021, new rules apply to flying with drones in the Netherlands and the European Union.
DroneScenario is a fully certified drone company and complies with current European drone legislation, drawn up by the EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency). DroneScenario flies with an Operational Authorisation (OA) issued by the IL&T (Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate). With this license we can make drone flights at locations where most other drone companies are not allowed to fly, such as at Schiphol or Rotterdam Airport. We can make spectacular drone shots of the canals of Amsterdam or the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam.
Do you have questions about specific drone locations? Then please contact us.
By having the drone recordings made by a certified company, you as a client prevent unpleasant surprises afterwards. DroneScenario’s flights are insured against damage and all recordings made are delivered royalty-free for further personal use afterwards.
The training courses have been followed at Drone Flight Academy and the licenses have been issued by the RDW, IL&T and EASA.
DroneScenario has an Operational Authorization for flying drones throughout the Netherlands from the IL&T, part of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
You can fly in many places in the Netherlands with the A1/A2/A3 license. But above many cities, industrial areas or ports you need an extensive license, such as the Specific Category or even an Operational Authorization.
On the GoDrone website you will find a map that indicates exactly where you can fly a drone with which license. Always ask the pilot if he has the correct license for the job.
